Renunciation is always for a purpose;
it is to kindle the soul that nothing may hold it back from God;
but when it is kindled, a life of renunciation is not necessary.
Verzicht ist immer für einen Zweck;
er ist, die Seele zu entzünden, so dass sie nichts vor Gott zurückhalten wird;
doch wenn sie einmal entflammt ist, ist ein Leben des Verzichts nicht mehr nötig.
Renuncia es siempre para un fin,
es para encender el alma que nada la pueda tener separada de Dios;
