Raden Ayou Jodjana (1888-1981) was of basque descent. She lived before World War I in London and met the Sufi Hazrat Inayat Khan. Inayat Khan gave her music classes and begged her not to join the organisation, which his disciples had founded; he was aware that she would work in a different way. And so it was, she was linked to Raden Mas Jodjana, a Javanese Dancer, all her life, they had two children, were touring all over Europe and established themselves in the South of France during World War II, taught and explored. The first volume of her Life Work, beautiful teachings in prose, contains: ‚The Structure and Functions of the Human Body‘, ‚Phrenos and Breathing‘ and ‚Life, the Three Fundamental States of Being.‘ Photographs of their lives round Volume one. ‚Be wholly receptive, to be wholly expressive‘. The seecond volume of her Life Work, beautiful teachings in prose, contains: ‚Space Workings, the only Creative expressive Essence', ‚Re-Education of the Senses‘, ‚the Art of Intonation‘, ‚Autobiography‘ and ‚Last Poems and Exercises‘. ‚The infant enters into this world Raden Mas Jodjana lived during World War II with his family in the South of France. They had built a beautiful centre of 'Art and Science of Movement' and suffered the deep tragedy of many human beings who had lived those underground years to support the Résistance. In 2010 Puran Füchslin has re-discovered these jewels from the Pioneer times of Hazrat Inayat Khans Work in Europe and America and has translated the work of Raden Ayou Jodjana into German.
